We offer authentic Viking age tools of the trade that are meticulously and thoughtfully crafted for hands on reenactors and collectors.
The first step in our manufacturing process is to identify ground dug examples and to do our best to mimic the same weights and dimension's used by the original smith who made them during the Viking age.
We specify the materials used to make each axe head or seax blade. in our case we chose 1060 hammer forged steel which allows the blades or bits to be sharpened using simple had tools like files, and whet stones which just about every living historian already has as part of their reenacting gear. All axe handles are made of American Hickory the USA and hand fitted by our team in our shop.

re-enactors.
We base our products on existing examples from archeogy. We fully expect them to be used and abused. They will withstand the rigors of wood cutting and weapons excercises."
